Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for WC PACU in Katy, TX. Responsibilities include performing and documenting comprehensive patient/family assessments, collecting and analyzing data from medical records to coordinate care, developing individualized plans of care, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, executing nursing interventions, evaluating patient responses, guiding discharge planning and patient education, and maintaining confidentiality. Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing (or enrollment in a BSN program) with current Texas RN licensure or NCLEX eligibility, BLS, 9 months of professional nursing experience, strong communication and organizational skills, knowledge of nursing process and unit-specific equipment, PALS, and respiratory fit testing. 10-hour day shifts (7a-530p).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or enrollment in BSN program
- Current Texas RN licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact
- BLS certification
- 9 months of professional nursing experience
- PALS (preferred or required)
