Registered Nurse (RN) - Waukesha Memorial Hospital 4NW Med/Surg Neuro/Ortho - .6 FTE (8 hr/Days)

Provide professional nursing care to orthopedic and neurological patients on a 31-bed mixed acuity unit, integrating theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in care delivery. Supervise and direct delegated nursing acts commensurate with educational preparation and demonstrated abilities of supervised personnel. Ensure all staff maintain NIHSS stroke certification and utilize specialized training to promote safe, early mobilization for post-surgical joint patients. Manage care for conditions including traumatic fractures, stroke, movement disorders, and mixed neurosurgical cases within a Joint Commission Center of Excellence environment. Work 8-hour days from 7:00-3:30 pm on a rotating schedule including every third weekend and every other holiday.
