Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in vascular telemetry. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while coordinating interdisciplinary rounds and documentation. Partner with patients and families to set goals and update them on care plans. Complete mandatory education and serve as a preceptor or mentor to support the nursing workforce. Participate in performance improvement activities, research utilization, and shared governance initiatives. Uphold evidence-based practice standards and system policies to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in nursing or Graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing
- Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
