Job Summary
Registered Nurse on the Vascular unit provides patient assessments and identifies needs, initiates nursing interventions, delivers appropriate care by condition and age, performs timely documentation in the medical record, and manages the Interdisciplinary Care Plan with timely QI assessments. The role offers opportunities to earn dialysis certification as part of professional development. Required qualifications include a current Alabama or compact RN license and an Associate's Degree in Nursing; BLS within 30 days of hire and ACLS within six months. Schedule is nights (3x12), with rotating weekends; two-three years of experience preferred, new grads welcome. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available for well-qualified applicants.
Required Qualifications
- Current Alabama or compact state RN license
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification within six months of hire
