Job Summary
Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator (Full-Time) provides perioperative patient care within the surgical patient care framework across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Requires an associate's degree in nursing, IL RN license, BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications, and two years of OR circulating experience. Reports to the OR Manager; benefits include Health and dental insurance, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance, PTO, 401(k), FSA, and equal opportunity employment. Responsibilities emphasize nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and collaboration to anticipate surgeon’s needs and ensure patient safety and quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse License - IL
- Current American Heart Assn. BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications
- Two years of operating room circulating experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center
