Registered Nurse (RN) – VAD Coordinator

Registered Nurse (RN) role focusing on VAD coordination in a Cardiac ICU/CTICU environment. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and supervising patient care on the unit; supervising non-RN staff; serving as charge nurse; providing education after assessment of learning needs; demonstrating competency in neuro patient care, airway management, tracheostomy suctioning, and specialized devices (e.g., LVAD/ECMO) with experience in complex cardiac care and post-operative management; promotes adherence to unit policies and standards, with opportunities for professional development and contributing to a patient-centered care approach.
