Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) coordinator in Cardiac/Neuro ICU settings. Provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient care; delegates/supervises non-RN personnel; serves as preceptor and charge nurse; collaborates with healthcare team to develop and document plans of care; ensures patient and family education and readiness for discharge; demonstrates expertise in neuro care, airway management, ventilator care, and post-operative cardiac/vascular patient management; supports core values and professional standards in a fast-paced critical care environment with opportunities for clinical advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current RN license in the State of Connecticut
- BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
- Clinical specialty certification encouraged
