Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Urgent Care providing comprehensive patient care including triage, exams support, phlebotomy, airway management, 12-lead ECGs, CPR/AED, immunizations, and medication administration. Collaborates with clinical team, supports training of new staff, ensures accurate documentation and communication with patients and providers, and handles follow-up conversations about care plans and test results. Requires state RN license (ADN/BSN), BLS certification, and ICU/urgent care–style experience; shifts include 12-hour blocks with weekend coverage and potential travel between convenient locations within a 1-hour radius.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- State licensed registered nurse (RN)
- Prior experience placing and monitoring IVs
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (no online-only or ACLS/CPR certifications accepted)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts; flexible to cover nights, weekends, holidays
