Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs. Assist with patient exams, prepare equipment, and support providers during testing and procedures. Perform blood draws, manage airway support through nebulizer therapy and oxygen administration, and provide cardiac management via ECGs, CPR, and AED defibrillation. Administer immunizations and medications per scope of practice, accurately process prescriptions, and handle patient follow-up calls regarding care plans and test results. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination and relay patient updates effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- State licensed registered nurse (RN)
- prior experience placing and monitoring IVs
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in consecutive and or non-consecutive days
- Must be able to work three (3) 12-hour shifts a week with at least four (4) shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday
- Must be able to work two (2) 12-hour shifts per week with at least two (2) shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday
- Must be able to work four (4) 12-hour shifts per month, ideally working one (1) shift each week
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays
- Must be able to work at a minimum of three (3) other ConvenientMD locations within a one (1) hour travel distance from your primary clinic
- Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one (1) hour commute

Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of patient triage experience in an urgent care or emergency department preferred
