Registered Nurse (RN) - University Hematology Oncology - FT Nights

Deliver and coordinate compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for patients within a multidisciplinary team. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to determine interventions and develop individualized care plans; administer medications safely; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care; educate and advocate for patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care; uphold professionalism and the MLH mission and values; use evidence-based practice to strive for optimal outcomes; demonstrate strong knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act and nursing scope; leverage healthcare technology (e.g., electronic health records, bar code scanning) to enhance safety and efficiency. Requires RN licensure in Tennessee and BLS; preferred BSN with 1–3 years clinical nursing experience; medium work, including potential lifting up to 50 lbs.
