Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager in Gloversville, NY. Responsible for supervising the assigned unit, helping establish and implement employee policies and procedures, mentoring less experienced nurses, maintaining standards of care, reviewing Resident records and quality of care, monitoring overall care and Residents’ cases, addressing questions/complaints from Residents or families, and representing the unit to upper management. Requires valid State RN License; LTC experience and charge-nurse experience preferred; strong computer and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold valid State RN License
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- 3 years Long Term Care Experience preferred
- 2 years Charge Nurse experience preferred
