Job Summary
Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) – Triage in Primary Care. Conducts thorough patient assessments, vital signs, and develops care plans; performs nurse triage to prioritize patient care; coordinates with physicians and other healthcare providers; educates patients and families on health conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes; maintains accurate documentation and scheduling, and supports administrative duties. Roles include care for patients at Loyola University Medical Center’s ambulatory settings with Day shift in two locations (Elmhurst and Oak Park).
Required Qualifications
- A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required
- BSN or ADN
- Current Registered Nurse License State of Illinois
- BLS provider (American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a clinical setting
