Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units by assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry data, and administering prescribed medications. Conduct comprehensive assessments, document changes in vital signs and care outcomes, and prepare patients for diagnostic procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans, manage multiple patients based on acuity, and facilitate discharge planning. Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed while advocating for patient needs and preferences. This 13-week travel assignment in McCook, Nebraska requires one year of recent Med Surg RN experience and a valid state license.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
