Job Summary
Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Livingston, MT. Delivers patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, assesses patients, monitors cardiac telemetry, administers medications and treatments, documents patient information, coordinates discharge planning, and collaborates with physicians, physical therapists, social workers, and other team members to implement individualized care plans while ensuring infection control and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- The Med Surg Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence to nursing standards
- Document comprehensive patient information, including vital signs, medications, treatments, and care outcomes, in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans
- Infection control practices and PPE usage
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
