Registered Nurse / RN - Traveling **Nights

Travel Med Surg RN responsible for delivering patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units; assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry data, administer prescribed medications and treatments, document in the medical record, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage diverse patient needs. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring and reporting changes, preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians, coordinating discharge planning, maintaining infection control practices, and advocating for patients’ needs. Requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, communication, and the ability to work in a travel assignment with a 13-week contract. Location: Dubuque, IA, with in-person duties; licensure reimbursement and traveler benefits provided.
