Job Summary
Exciting opportunity for a Critical Care Registered Nurse in our high acuity trauma ICU at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating care for critically ill patients. Join a supportive team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- American Heart Association ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
- Current NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- PC skills
Additional Requirements
- Active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact license held
