Job Summary
RN Transfer Coordinator collaborates with the Chief Operating Officer and the Transfer Center Medical Director to develop, coordinate, enhance and execute the Transfer Center program, promoting staff proficiency in the care of transferred patients and assisting with development and implementation of interdisciplinary strategies for a coordinated care program for transferred patients.
Required Qualifications
- BSN required
- 3 years nursing experience in critical care or trauma care setting
- Knowledge of EMTALA and transfer regulations
Desired Qualifications
- BSN required
- Master's preferred
- 3 years nursing experience in critical care or trauma care setting
- CCRN preferred
- Knowledge of EMTALA and transfer regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make sound judgements
