Job Summary
Provide dedicated, one-on-one nursing care to pediatric patients with high acuity needs, focusing on trach and vent management. Deliver skilled nursing in a calm home environment while building consistent relationships with children and families. Utilize clear care plans and physician orders to guide clinical judgment, supported by 24/7 on-call clinical assistance and respiratory therapist mentorship. Maintain strict safety protocols using provided PPE aligned with CDC guidelines. Requires current Florida RN license, BLS CPR certification, and experience or willingness to train in G-tube, trach, and vent care.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Florida RN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
