Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse at WellStar Kennestone Hospital - Total Joint, Night shift, Full Time. Provides nursing care following the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice, coordinating care with interdisciplinary team, and delivering patient-centered care. Collaborates in a team-based environment, supports performance improvement, and participates in professional development (preceptor/mentorship). Requires an Associate's Degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred) and an active RN license (including multi-state compact) with BLS/CPR certifications. Responsibilities emphasize care quality, patient safety, and adherence to professional standards and Wellstar policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in nursing or Graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing Required
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours Required
- direct patient care experience Preferred
- RN - Multi-state Compact Required
- Basic Life Support Required
- BLS - Instructor Required
- BLS - Provisional Required
