Job Summary
Administer nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with ANA standards, the NJ Practice Act, and established hospital policies. Obtain complete nursing histories and baseline assessments, analyze health status data to determine nursing diagnoses, and formulate care plans addressing physical, psychological, spiritual, and educational needs. Administer medications per CSHS policies, recognize changes in resident condition, and take immediate action during emergencies or medication variances. Participate in unit conferences, delegate care components, and document pain assessments and interventions. Provide resident and family education regarding medical decisions and pain management while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve maximum outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved program for Registered nurses currently licensed to practice in NJ
- RN License / New Jersey required
- BLS certification required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous experience preferred
