Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) needed at The Lutheran Home at Topton. Provides and coordinates resident care, administers medications and IV therapies including TPN; oversees medication orders and administration; documents in EMR; collaborates with interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans; ensures regulatory compliance and maintains safety. Requires active RN licensure, a nursing school graduate, CPR certification, and preferably a BSN; IV-certified nurses may initiate IV therapy. Active engagement in discharge/condition documentation and adherence to state and federal licensure rules; duties include medication administration, IV infusions, and ensuring quality clinical care.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure in state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited/approved nursing school
- BSN preferred
- CPR certified
- Specialized training or experience in gerontological nursing preferred
