Registered Nurse / RN Telemetry

Coordinate safe patient care delivery for diverse populations under the direction of the Nurse Director/Manager. Assess patient and family needs, develop prioritized goals, evaluate care delivery, and revise the plan of care to address biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational requirements. Delegate care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes while adhering to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act. This full-time night shift role is located at the University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, Kansas. Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in nursing and current Kansas RN licensure, with BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire. ACLS certification is required for Telemetry, ICU, and PCU positions, while oncology certification is needed for Post Surgery units. All required certifications must be completed within the first year of employment.
