Job Summary
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment while assessing patient conditions and responding promptly to changes in status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans, and educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide compassionate support. Requires active Kentucky RN license, BLS certification, and experience in acute care or telemetry; rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky (or compact state license)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or required within a specified timeframe
- Minimum of 1–2 years of telemetry or acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
