Job Summary
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) needed for PRN role in Odessa, TX. Responsibilities include evaluating assigned patients, planning, implementing and documenting nursing care; administering medications; establishing patient care goals; educating patients and families on conditions, self-care skills, and medications; assisting physicians during examinations; and performing various day-to-day tasks. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, compassionate, patient-centered approach, and EKG experience are valued; PALS may be preferred. Minimum 1 year of RN experience with an active TX license and required BLS/ACLS certifications. On-site position with a supportive team and opportunities for professional development within Odessa Regional Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Experience in suicide prevention required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
