Job Summary
Telemetry Registered Nurse providing cardiac monitoring and neuro/cardiac care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Responsible for assessing, interpreting, and documenting ECG rhythms and vital signs; direct bedside care including IV management and medication administration; collaborating with physicians, therapists, and the care team to develop individualized care plans; educating patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and post-discharge management; ensuring accurate charting in EPIC; and acting as patient advocate within the clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current, active RN license in Virginia
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum of 1 year of Med-Surg/Telemetry/critical care experience
- Strong IV start skills
- Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- BSN preferred
