Job Summary
Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at BioLife Takeda location in Georgetown, TX. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results. You work under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance, with responsibilities including informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interviews, physical exams, blood testing, and review of SPE. You’ll support vaccination programs and assist with EHS guidance, ensuring donor safety and compliance with SOPs, and previously perform as a clinical liaison within a plasma center environment. Requires RN licensure (TX), CPR/AED, IV therapy requirements, and at least two years in a clinical/hospital setting. Part-time role with compensation reflecting hourly wage range of $35.20–$48.40, plus benefits.”,
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN in the state of responsibility
- Current CPR and AED certification
