Job Summary
Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care while delegating tasks to other nursing personnel based on licensure and preparation. Serve as the code and rapid response staff person for ICU staff, managing all code situations. Assist with IV starts, dressing changes, diabetic education, and chart audits. Maintain current nursing licensure and provide ICU RN experience, with BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP certifications required within one year of hire. Work part-time at St. Marys Hospital in Detroit Lakes with a 0.6 FTE schedule, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, with a call obligation. Required Qualifications
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- ICU RN Experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire or transfer
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within one year of hire or transfer
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within one year of hire or transfer
