Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) to work 36 hours/week on the Night shift in the Surgical Specialty Unit at Union Hospital, Elkton, MD. Responsibilities include collecting comprehensive data, analysis for nursing diagnoses, identifying outcomes, planning, implementing and coordinating care, safely administering medications, providing patient- and family-centered care, health teaching and promotion, evaluating progress, maintaining ethical and evidence-based practice, leadership and collaboration with patients and families, and ensuring a safe environment. BSN preferred with commitment to obtaining BSN within three years; at least one year med/surg RN experience; BLS certification. Shift includes nights with weekends/holidays per department guidelines; pay range posted as hourly with differential noted; Magnet Status recognition and clinical ladder opportunities highlighted.
