Job Summary
Registered Nurse RN - Surgical Short Stay unit (11-bed, 23-hour surgical observation) providing postoperative care for diverse surgical patients including joint replacements and various General, GYN, Neurosurgical, Urology, and Vascular procedures. Requires Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN or Diploma) and Georgia RN licensure; minimum 1 year RN experience. Responsibilities include delivering safe, evidence-based care, leading care coordination, prioritizing and communicating with patients/families, and participating in interdisciplinary rounds. Emphasizes clinical leadership, adherence to nursing process, and commitment to quality improvement within NGHS.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma
- Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience
