Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process in the Surgical Services department for per diem positions. Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs, coordinate care, and evaluate outcomes in alignment with nursing standards of practice and regulatory requirements. Requires current New Jersey RN licensure, BLS and ACLS per AHA, and enrollment in a BSN/MSN program with graduation by the third employment anniversary; two years of clinical experience in the specialty area for per diem roles.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a BSN or MSN program within six months of hire or rehire and graduate by third employment anniversary date
- Two years clinical experience in specialty area for per diem positions
- Current licensure in the State of New Jersey
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS
- National certification in area of specialty preferred
- Education: BSN or MSN graduates preferred
- Per diem/Varied shift availability
- Hospital setting experience preferred
