Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) in Surgical ICU responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care on a nursing unit, supervising non-RN staff, and serving as charge nurse and preceptor. Key duties include developing and documenting individualized plans of care, coordinating with the healthcare team, ensuring education for patients and families, and demonstrating proficiency in neuro-focused care (neuro assessment, airway management, care of trached patients, assistance with neuro procedures, and use of related equipment such as ventilators and Halo braces). Requires BSN-preferred education, CT RN licensure, and BLS; prior Med/Surg RN experience is noted.
