Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical ICU at YNHHS oversees patient care on the nursing unit, develops and documents individualized plans of care, coordinates with the healthcare team, and evaluates patient responses to care. The role involves supervision of non‐RN personnel, acting as Charge Nurse, and serving as a preceptor for new staff. Neuro-focused duties include neuro assessment, airway management for neuro patients, care of ventilated or trached patients, and engagement in specialized neuro procedures. The RN educates patients and families, plans post‐care education, and ensures continuity of care across the continuum. Requires BSN (preferred) and CT RN licensure with BLS; location Easton, CT.
