Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Surgical Critical Care Complex (SCCC) responsible for delivering higher level nursing care to neurosurgical, general surgical, and adult/pediatric trauma patients within a 22-bed Surgical/Trauma ICU. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team in a 4x Magnet Status hospital, participating in ongoing clinical development through the Clinical Ladder. The role emphasizes high standards of practice consistent with Magnet designation and level I trauma center operations, with a rotating day/midnight schedule and access to comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and other wellness/financial supports.
Required Qualifications
- BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire
- Minimum 1-2 years stepdown experience
- Critical Care experience strongly preferred
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
