Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery Trauma

Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with patients and families through bedside reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and teaching. Coordinate safe quality care delivery via timely documentation and diverse interdisciplinary communication. Participate in performance improvement, research utilization, and shared governance activities to promote safe outcomes. Mentor and precept other professional nurses and staff to ensure a qualified workforce. Complete all mandatory education, competency assessments, and population-specific training. Uphold legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards including TJC Patient Safety Goals. Comply with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
