Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery Trauma

Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside teaching while documenting care and promoting a respectful clinical environment. Partner with patients and families to set goals and maintain updates, adapting service delivery to population-specific characteristics. Mentor staff and students, lead performance improvement initiatives, and participate in shared governance activities. Uphold Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act standards, TJC safety goals, and all Wellstar policies. Complete mandatory education and competency assessments, and develop protocols to reduce re-admissions and adverse events.
