Registered Nurse (RN) Surgery

Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physician, patient, and family while assisting with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support needs, and evaluate family learning needs to provide appropriate education. Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient and participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Maintain regular attendance and provide quality care across diverse patient populations from neonates to older adults.
