Job Summary
Coordinate the Patient Care Team's delivery of personalized, efficient care while providing patient assessment throughout the stay and participating in discharge planning. Initiate and update individualized patient plans of care, collaborate with physicians as part of the Interdisciplinary Team, and implement interventions identified in established plans. Maintain proficiency in EPIC and medication administration, ensuring adherence to the 10 Rights of medication administration and completing annual competencies. Participate in process improvement utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology to improve patient outcomes and actively attend briefs and huddles. Complete hourly rounds on all patients and maintain bedside shift reports with each handoff. 12-hour shifts (7A-7P and 7P-7A) with every other weekend rotation. Base salary up to $20,000 bonus for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- current state RN license
- associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification
- Completion of the online hospital-based trauma nurse course
- Obtains trauma nurse certification within 90 days
- One-year acute care experience or other comparable nursing experience
- 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend rotation
- Schedules are published in 4-week intervals
- Flexible self-scheduling
- Timely renewal of PA State RN licensure
- Obtains trauma nurse certification within 90 days and maintains certification through a minimum of 8 hours of trauma-based education yearly
