Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery role at Harris Regional Hospital. Responsibilities include accurate patient assessments, identifying and initiating appropriate nursing interventions, providing age-appropriate care, timely documentation of medical necessity, completing and revising the Interdisciplinary Care Plan, and performing quality improvement assessments. The role supports diverse surgical services (General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, bronchoscopy, and pediatric dental procedures) in a full-time, day-shift setting with a 2-year commitment sign-on bonus. Must hold an RN license for NC or a compact state, possess an associate’s degree in nursing, and obtain BLS within 30 days and ACLS/PALS within six months; one year of experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- AHA ACLS and PALS within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
