Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Surgery position at Community Medical Center in Missoula, MT. 12-hour shifts on three 12-hour shifts with weekend call coverage on a rotating basis; 0.9 FTE with FT Days. Requires current state RN license, an Associate's degree, BLS, ACLS within 3 months, perioperative OR RN experience, and completion of a moderate sedation course within 3 months. CNOR preferred; OR Charge Nurse experience preferred. Sign-on bonus of $20,000 with a two-year commitment. Includes competitive benefits and professional development opportunities. The RN uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the perioperative setting and acts as patient advocate, leader, and educator for staff.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- ACLS within three (3) months of hire
- OR RN experience required
- Recent experience within last five (5) years in the perioperative field
- Complete moderate sedation course within three (3) months of hire
