Job Summary
Perform the nursing process using evidence-based practice to deliver individualized, relationship-based care while partnering with patients and families on goals and teaching. Coordinate safe, quality patient care through interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and timely documentation within a shared governance model. Mentor preceptors and staff, lead performance improvement initiatives, and participate in research utilization to promote patient safety and reduce re-admission rates. Complete mandatory education, competency assessments, and population-specific training. Uphold Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act standards, TJC safety goals, and Wellstar policies while supporting efficient resource use and protocol development.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours Required
