Job Summary
Perform the Nursing Process using evidence-based practice to deliver individualized, relationship-based care to patients and their families. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and documentation to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes while partnering with the team on performance improvement initiatives. Mentor preceptors and staff, lead research utilization activities, and proactively plan care across the continuum. Work the night shift (7p-7a) three days per week as a full-time member of the Surgery/Bariatric unit.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in nursing
- Graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing
- Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Reg Nurse (Single State)
- RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support
- Availability to work 7:00pm-7:00am 3 days/week
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- direct patient care experience
- BLS - Instructor
- BLS - Provisional
