Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with patients and families through bedside rounds and teaching. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication, document care safely, and participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities. Mentor preceptors and staff to support workforce development. Complete mandatory education and uphold Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours Required
- direct patient care experience Preferred
