Job Summary
Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unit, establish and implement employee policies and procedures, and mentor less experienced nurses with clinical and career advice. Maintain standards of care by reviewing resident records, monitoring overall care, and addressing questions or complaints from residents and families. Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management while ensuring quality of care. Requires valid NYS RN license, two years of Long Term Care experience, and one year of Charge Nurse experience. Weekend schedule at Rochester Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Rochester, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold valid NYS RN License
- Excellent positive attitude to act as the leader of a group
- Strong computer skills
- Exceptional communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years Long Term Care Experience preferred
- 1-year Charge Nurse experience preferred
