Job Summary
RN Supervisor leads coordination of patient care and services in a post-acute care setting, supervising licensed staff and CNAs, ensuring quality care per Life Care standards and regulatory requirements. Requires an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing, an active RN license, and CPR certification, with two years of nursing experience (geriatric experience preferred). The role emphasizes strong knowledge of applicable laws and guidelines, program implementation, patient rights and safety, confidentiality, and professional collaboration to maintain higher levels of patient well-being. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Two years nursing experience (geriatric nursing experience preferred)
- CPR certification (upon hire or during orientation; must remain current)
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities
- Ability to make independent decisions and implement department policies
- Proficient communication and teamwork in an interdisciplinary setting
