Job Summary
RN Supervisor coordinates patient care and services in a post-acute care facility, leading licensed staff and CNAs, assessing patient needs, developing plans of care, and ensuring quality care in accordance with Life Care standards. Responsibilities include promoting patient as well as family collaboration, adherence to regulations and policies, maintaining patient confidentiality, professional conduct, and effective communication within an interdisciplinary team. Requires current RN license, 2 years of nursing experience, CPR certification (upon hire or during orientation) and a nursing degree (associate’s or bachelor’s). Must demonstrate independent decision-making, knowledge of laws and guidelines governing post-acute care, and ability to evacuate patients when needed. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Two years nursing experience (geriatrics preferred)
- CPR certification at hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
