Job Summary
Oversee daily clinical operations in the 112-bed Skilled Nursing unit, coordinating patient care activities and providing direction to nursing and patient care staff. Ensure care delivery aligns with nursing standards, evidence-based practices, and the Florida Nurse Practice Act while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes. Support staff development, identify process improvement initiatives, and manage the budget plan to enhance quality and patient experiences. Lead a dedicated team in a compassionate, community-focused environment at HealthPark Care and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Myers, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Bachelors degree in nursing or healthcare related field
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous experience in Nursing Leadership
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida
- Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to the delivery of nursing care
- Ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to improve the delivery of care
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of finance to support the development and management of the budget plan
- Certification in Nursing Administration or appropriate specialty
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in nursing or healthcare related field preferred
- Previous experience in Nursing Leadership preferred
