Job Summary
Oversee nursing staff in a long-term care facility, delegate nursing assignments based on staff qualifications and resident needs, mentor new hires and provide ongoing training, collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, respond to emergencies with timely interventions, and perform other duties as required to ensure high-quality resident care in accordance with state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid RN license in the state of PA
- CPR certification required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care or a related setting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
