Job Summary
The RN Supervisor coordinates and manages patient care and services to achieve high-quality outcomes, directs licensed staff and CNAs, assesses patient needs and develops plans of care, ensures patient rights and safety, and maintains confidentiality and compliance with Life Care standards; requires RN licensure, 2 years nursing experience (geriatric experience preferred), and CPR certification, with responsibilities including patient care coordination, staff supervision, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Two (2) years’ nursing experience (geriatric nursing experience preferred)
- CPR certification (upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current)
- Expert knowledge in field of practice
- Ability to make independent decisions when warranted
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities
- Ability to implement and interpret department programs, goals, policies, and procedures
- Proficient in communication and teamwork
- Sufficient physical ability to perform job duties
- English language proficiency
