Job Summary
RN Supervisor coordinates patient care and services, providing leadership to licensed staff and CNAs to ensure high-quality care for patients, including development of plans of care, evaluation of care quality, and collaboration with patients and families in accordance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Responsibilities include directing care priorities, ensuring patient rights and safety, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to policies and compliance training, and functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team in a post-acute care facility. Requires strong knowledge of practice standards, ability to make independent decisions when warranted, and excellence in customer service and professional conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Two (2) years nursing experience (geriatric nursing experience preferred)
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation and must remain current during employment
