Job Summary
Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unit, establish and implement employee policies and procedures, and mentor less experienced nurses with clinical and career advice. Maintain standards of care by reviewing resident records, quality of care, and individual cases, while addressing complaints from residents or families. Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management and monitor overall care. Requires valid NYS RN license, 2 years long-term care experience, and 1-year charge nurse experience. Work 3PM-11PM shifts plus day shifts every other weekend. Rochester Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 124-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility providing comprehensive post-acute care in Monroe County.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS RN License
- Excellent positive attitude to act as the leader of a group
- Strong computer skills
- Exceptional communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years Long Term Care Experience preferred
- 1-year Charge Nurse experience preferred
